Last Chance Endurance Run — On Saturday, November 12th, 250 veteran and novice athletes alike will meet at 6:30 a.m. to begin their journey on the dirt levee near Cavitt Junior High School for the Last Chance 50 Mile endurance event.  Runners from all over the country will challenge their endurance, mentally and physically, by participating in the Last Chance 50 Mile Endurance Runs.  The participants, ranging from beginner to veteran in experience level, will experience “the jewel of Sacramento” while running along the American River Parkway www.lastchance50.com

Festival of Trees — In honor of National Adoption Awareness Month, Rubio’s Festival of Trees charity event will be held on Sunday, November 20th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Sacramento’s California Automobile Museum.  The event builds awareness and raises funds for The Birth Connection (TBC), a nonprofit organization devoted to providing a safe place for pregnant women in crisis http://www.bradfordbarthel.com/festivaloftrees.htm.

Cafeteria 15L at Terminal B — The Sacramento International Airport opened its newly-renovated Terminal B on October 6th.  The terminal offers several local restaurants including the very popular Cafeteria 15L.  The restaurant will include many of the home-cooked favorites that have been popularized at the restaurant’s downtown location.
